Microenvironmental Chamber
Temperature controlled microscope frame for microfluidic chips
TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED: Room temperature to 50 degC. For convenience, there is one presetting of 37degC.
SET DESIRED TEMPERATURE EASILY WITH +/- BUTTONS
CHIP DIMENSIONS: The frame will hold microfluidic chips of size 50mm (L) x 40mm (W) x 3mm (D). Compatible with Cellix's Vena biochip range.
COMPATIBLE WITH WIDE RANGE OF MICROSCOPES: including Zeiss, Nikon etc.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The frame contains 2 heater blocks on each side of the section where the microfluidic chip is placed and a sensor which measures the temperature of the microfluidic chip. The temperature of the microfluidic chip is shown in red on the temperature controller. The top of the frame contains an ITO glass slide (Indium Tin Oxide, a transparent conductor). The ITO glass slide heats the surface of the microfluidic chip to the desired temperature setting, shown in green on the temperature controller.
