UniGo Microfluidic Pump: Accurate and Pulse-Free Flow for Microfluidic Applications

Introduction

UniGo pump is a precision pressure pump for a variety of microfluidic applications, where accurate and stable flow rate delivery is required. You can connect up to 4 UniGo microfluidic pumps racked together allowing simultaneous control and independent programming of each pump’s flow profile.

It comprises of an internal manifold which contains two proportional valves: one regulates the injection of air in the reservoir and the second regulates the ejection. Nevertheless, due to physical constraints within the valves (orifice size, etc), the maximum air flow rate through these valves is limited. Therefore, the capacity of the UniGo pump to build up or release the pressure within the reservoirs containing the media is also limited.

Features and Benefits

  • FAST RESPONSE and fast settling time.

  • PULSE-FREE down to uL/min with flow sensor.

  • PROGRAMMABLE flow profiles with any combination of constant, ramp, sine and step.

  • EASY INTEGRATION with your own software - LabVIEW, C++, Python, etc.

  • FLOW RATES: 1uL/min - 1mL/min.

  • INPUT PRESSURE: up to 10 bar or 145 PSI - external compressor or vacuum pump required.

  • CLOSED-LOOP FEEDBACK: Flow sensors provide active feedback and precise flow control.

  • MODULAR: up to 4 UniGo pumps connected together with independent programming of each pump's flow profile. Or you can mix-and-match with our ExiGo microfluidic syringe pumps.

How does it work?
